i like the new turn you are going down, (frankly i think everyone was scared of 'the jesus song') nice and mellow, oksy maybe not quite... but something you could let your parents listen to!!
well done, looking forward to more serious stuff, but don't get me wrong, keep doing what you have done!

I enjoyed the weird effects in the intro. This song is really good, sounds like popular emo-punk. I think the vocal timing was off in just a couple parts. The layered vocals were really cool though. I loved the playing. That main riff is so catchy. The breakdown-bridge part was f'ing awesome. Nice job guys.

The guitar work reminds me of the Descendants for some reason with emo thrown into the mix.
I'd love to hear that backwards sounding intro somewhere else in the song. That was really cool. Good guitar work on the intro verse.

Descendants? It's a little slow for that, I think Ellis. I'm feeling more of a "Bush" thing going on with the guitars...
Intro cool. I agree with Emo on the vocals, higher up. The song has a good energy, the rhythm/crunchy guitar is lacking a little lustre to me...it could be the right hand. Feel like it could be worked a little harder.
The counter guitar is cool, and drives the beat onward. I'd drop it where it staccato's at around 2:45 or so...but bring it in a little later.
The screamy vocal bits are interesting. Not sure if that's something I'd keep...the idea of it I like, but the way it's produced here isn't something I'm necessarily for.
The bridge is GREAT and sounds sonically 10x better than the rest of the song. If you could capture the quality of sound you got with that end bit in the body of the song, it would boost it a ton.
Definitely a strong arrangement. Worthy of a strong, tight recording!

This is a well put together song. Great guitar parts, I like the solid rhythm accompanied by the sort of lead stuff going on throughout. Those high "doot do doot" kinda vocals rock.
The vocals are cool for the most part. I think the lead voice in some places sounds too spoken almost; sounds like it was sung quietly, without a lot of force behind it. I don't know if that's intentional or what, but I think that could be a little better.
Don't let that criticism lead you to believe I don't like this. This is great song and as I continue to listen it's growing on me even more. I really like the backing voices doing the kind of yelling thing.

Oh yeah, this rocks! Definately an awesome job and even though I wasn't at all scared of the Jesus song (my neighbors are), I like the more serious turn you've taken as well.
I'd love to hear the vox a little more clearly, but they work as is.
Love the whispery bit around 4:25.
Rock on, guys!

this is one hot arrangment. the beats and fx are very cool...the guitars drive each other nicely, both are very catchy. The vocals are great, they just need more clarity and volume in the mix. The bridge is a big surprise....sweet...There is a lot of energy on this tune. A little more care in the recording/mixing would put this way over the top.

I love this. !selur sdrawkcaB The double guitar mayem in the opening is perfect. The bass/drums kick ass. This has that blend of pain and fear and flat-out-fucking-JOY that I find very appealing.

bridge is great btw.. those clean sounds are great, but they sound quite serperate from the rest of the tune. But i think thats more of a production issue than a problem with the song. THe quality of those clean sounds are of much higher standard than the rest of the tune. I also find they're panned out nice and wide.. but when u come back into the tune its like it gets crushed. Sorta like ur going from stereo to mono sorta thing.

i really dont know what i did with that. i use a line 6 POD, and getting decent clean sounds is so much easier than getting a good distorted sound. well, it sounds good until you record it, then its poo. maybe its my soundcard? bleh.

This totally rocks. Got me shakin my hair around, feeling it all with you. It's very intense and I gotta turn it up really loud and just go with it. Excellent tune. Makes me want to yell the words along. The mellow part that starts about 3:35 gave me goosebumps. Wow. Great song. I've listened to it three times and I still want more. Perfect ending. I like this one a lot.
